I've felt like I haven't done much all weekend, but in fact I have. I have been busy reformating my computer. I still have one little glitch to work out but so far so good. Dad, like you were saying, I had to go into the bios to change the boot sequence making the CD rom the primary boot device. The Recovery Console wouldn't work for me for some reason, even though I didn't have a password on it, it acted like I did and wouldn't let me make changes, so I had to do it the hard way and delete all three partitions and re install from scratch. I found this out when I installed it and rebooted and had two versions of Windows on my computer, one on one partion and one on another. ha! So I have learned a lot. Now if I can just find where I put that one program I need to reinstall.
Mike and I took it easy today. We had a hard time at the Coffee House with a great band playing but no volunteers. I managed the kitchen by myself and Mike managed to control the crowd. We did just fine, but a bit tired at the end of the night. The band played one of the best shows we have had. We are looking into prices for a soft serve ice cream machine. We seem to make more milk shakes than anything and we go through about 6 or more gallons of ice cream. It sure would make our work easier if we could find a second hand one somewhere.
Had a wee talk with Isla on the phone. She is through with college for a wee while. It won't be long till she will be through with school also. James graduates from College on the 14th of May. A big day then. We are so proud of our son in law too. With all these Mclean, Schuchs and Carr smarts going around the baby is bound to be a genius.
