When talking about the nursery with Isla, she liked Winnie the Pooh theme but not the Disney version but the original version, so that is part of where all the bees come from and the hive Isla made. So now I am painting a Baby Sampler copying pictures from the book Alastair and Gill sent Isla and Carrie in 1983. Isla and Carrie's baby sampler and many others are cross stitched but cross stitching isn't as popular as it was, so I thought water color would be fun. Here is the first corner of it and the book at the top that I copied from. I love doing this. It is so much fun.
Isla went to the doctor today and all is well. She has some good news. It was mentioned that there may be a teaching position opening up Christmas when she goes back to work and it is for Social Studies 7th grade. It means she would have a teacher's job. She would much rather teach Social Studies than English. It is pretty exciting. She is also on Maternity Leave as of tomorrow. So she will be at home until the baby comes. So the waiting game is on. Running for the phone.
