Had lunch with Isla yesterday and things are the same there. Just waiting.
The new guy starts work on December 1st after he gives his notice at his job now. He works in a candle factory now. It is funny because I thought his wife was just a bit overboard with the car deodorant. Some people come in smelling of their car. I'm glad to know it's where he works because I was worried my allergies wouldn't be able to handle the strong smell. But I will only have a month to worry about that anyway as I am giving my notice for the end of the year. The new guy is also a preacher.
Hal has been coming in at 4pm every day. I guess the new book keeper needs help or something. Ha! He came in excited yesterday with photos of a showroom in Memphis of digital work and wants to redo our showroom, of course he wants me to do it! He continues to just not call customers who I have left a message to call back and I constantly have to deal with this which isn't fun. What do you say? He will get back to you if he feels like it! I don't worry about it anymore.
I'm finally getting my voice back, it's still scratchy. Mike is having a Thanksgiving meal at work Friday so I have been trying to get the famous Shrimp Dressing ready for him and Sweet potato pies that Tonya made recently that were really good. Anything that has condensed milk in it is good though. Mike has been a big help and had the chicken boiled and deboned for me last night when I got home and cooked the sweet potatoes, so tonight all I have to do is put it all together and bake. Still been working on the watercolor baby picture. I'll post it when I am finished.
