Photos taken about an hour ago

Jake decided to go to bed early tonight, so here I am blogging. I just love the photos of Jake and the mirror toy. I'm the one that puts it infront of him and try to get a good shot. I just love the last one especially. We had fun playing tonight. He has great coordination for his age. He has this toy that has holes in it that you put these hand size balls in and we spent about 20 minutes him putting the ball in the hole and me clapping and praising him. I bet he did it 100 times straight. He can also throw a tennis ball back to you. I roll it to him and he throws it back in my direction. Amazing. He does it over and over. I've never known a baby to smile and laugh so much. He's trying to adjust himself to just taking one nap a day now and that is about the only time when I hear him cry. I'll put him in the baby bed and when he wakes up and finds himself alone in the room he cries. If I'm babysitting him at Isla's house I'm usually sitting in the chair drawing when he wakes up and he sees me right away, so he doesn't cry then.

I haven't blogged in a while apart from photos. My life tends to be mostly photos anyway. I haven't mentioned Carrie in a while as Mike and I have been going to "Grief Classes" on Thursday nights. They have been really good. Mike has been calling me from France and seems to be getting along just fine. He should be back Thursday night. Isla and James were really sweet and came and spent the night with me Friday and helped out at the Coffee House and then Isla made this amazing meal on Saturday. It was really good. Mike if you are reading this Mississippi State beat Alabama Saturday!
