It is getting to where my dial up is getting slower and slower, or perhaps it is me getting used to using Isla's speedy internet to check my Art Sites when Jake is taking a nap that is getting me spoiled. Anyway! I'm sorry to report my last Mother's Day gift from Carrie has finally bit the dust. Imagine crying over a plant! Four years ago Carrie plopped down a hanging basket of blooming fuchsia and said "here Mum, this if for you!" I knew this day would come someday and I tried hard to keep it alive all this time. She remembered me telling her and Isla about when I was a preschooler (as they say here) and I would go over and play with Janice at her house. We were both fascinated by this huge bush of Fuchsia they had and enjoyed popping open the tight buds to hear the noise it made. Well, life goes on as they say. Just another one of the many milestones that we go through.
