We enjoyed some lovely weather for Christmas Day!Audrey gave Mari the dress she is wearing when we were in Scotland.

I am married to one of the best cooks I know. Mike cooked the usual Christmas Goose stuffed with rice and he made a delicious gravy. I make a shrimp dressing. Isla brought corn casserole, green bean casserole and rolls. I had homemade eggnog ice-cream for dessert.
Mari seemed to like her Elmo and enjoyed showing it to G.G. Mac and Shona on the web cam today! Mari took off walking Christmas Eve. By the time I took this video she was a bit tired but she was walking everywhere.We enjoyed a glass of Champagne Christmas Eve with Isla and James to celebrate her grades, 2 A's and a B. It was a bit odd this Christmas not to talk to Dad on the phone but I thought of him often, he is greatly missed as is Carrie. I'm so grateful to have so many happy memories of them both.
