The G-Kids at the Coffee House this evening.
Below, with the warmer weather, Jake enjoys the sandbox.
And Mari goes Cruising in the new Wee Car.
A bit about the G-Kids.
Mari has started bringing me things, like her slippers to put on her feet, or my shoes to me when we are headed outside. She also brings me a diaper when it's time to be changed, so perhaps she will be potty trained early. She reminds me a lot of Isla at this age as she babbles just like Isla did. She also puts on a fake cry/fuss that can turn into laughter easily that Isla used to do all the time. She understands everything you say to her, so don't mention to her that you are going to give her a bath unless you really are about to as she will head to the bathroom expecting to play in the tub. She seems fearless and likes to climb. She thinks she's able to walk down stairs by herself. She does have amazing balance though and has very few accidents. Jake taught her to roar like a lion which she does back at him when he does it. When I play the guitar for her and sing kid's songs she likes to slap the guitar hard and pull at the strings while swaying back and forth.

Jake, has an amazing memory and attention to detail. While watching the movie "Cars" the first thing he noticed when Lightening McQueen got a paint job was that the number was gone on the side door. He knows and delights in knowing his numbers and letters and now sings heartily along to Kid's Songs with you, verse by verse. He has amazing patience, as with painting or playing with playdo. He also can throw a ball right at you and would make a great pitcher. He plays the drum while I play the guitar and has a pretty good musical ear as far as the beat goes. He doesn't believe in naps since he turned 3, reason being that the sun is up. M&M's are his favorite candy and he calls them N&M's. He gets really excited when you mention he is going to the Coffee House.

Let's hope they stay that way. I am so tired of sickness! I really like the pictures. They are so cute.
I can't walk to close to the bathroom door least she thinks I am going in because she wants to brush her teeth all the time! Today Jake saw me get out the tweezers and said "Bugs biting you Mama?" It took a little while, but he kept repeating it and finally remembered that the only time I have used tweezers on him (over a year ago) was to get a tick off of his leg. Such a good memory, I think he stole mine because it is definitely not what it used to be!
