Well, the Coffee House went well this weekend. We had a big storm come through around 6-7pm and I really thought the band would not come but they showed up anyway. They really sounded good. I had the kitchen all to myself but managed fine. The kids just had to stand at the counter a little longer for things, but hey, we are not a fast food restaurant and they are getting a hot dog for 25cents, they can wait a little, right? Mike had his hands full with the kids and sound system. Next weekend will be a big one, with one band coming Friday and four Saturday. This Tuesday night the college is hosting a night at the Coffee House which we will need to be there for. Things are going well. Sure missed Mum's help last night. Ha! I thought of them as I loaded the fridge with drinks, (actually wee Miles helped). One of the kids that has been attending since day one, asked me at 11:45 last night, "are you Carrie?", so I had to explain and showed him Carrie's photo. Mum, I guess I will have to count up the money myself today.
Mike is cooking me shrimp today(thinking about YOU James) and I have to do the Coffee House paperwork and our banking. Mike is cleaning out the basement and organizing a bit. Not much else going on.
