Thanks to Kati and her family we now have video of Carrie in the School plays, "Steel Magnolias" and "Little Women". I will try and put them onto DVD. Also a tape of when they were interviewed on the "Morning Show". I remember laughing with Carrie as she dressed for her outstanding role in little women (as she dyed her hair grey to look old) that now we knew what she would look like old. I never for one minute thought we wouldn't get to see her age. Carrie was so caring in these roles as Mother. It was one of her golden moments. I remember many said she brought tears to their eyes as she did me.

I'm so glad that you have these videos and I hope I can watch them with pleasure some day. One of my happiest memories is of Carrie, Isla and Ruth watching a recording of the film 'Steel Magnolias' and , of course, Carrie was acting and mimicking the part of the Mother. She told us how she had to go over and over saying ' oh,Shelby!' if that was the name of the daughter. She had to get the inflection just right.
