Last night went great. The bands were great. It was kinda nice to have just older kids. Mike didn't have so much to do. Little kids are just so destructive. Like Laura said, the kids playing pool can get the baby powder and it can stay back there, but not with the little kids. The ping pong balls don't get squashed. Laura and Jenny came to help out but the older kids don't eat as much either, so we had a nice relaxing time of it. The band from Nashville were really good. Plus, they told the kids they should be thankful to have such a nice place to play in, that they didn't have a place like the Coffee House in Nashville TN. We were in bed at 11pm, so not as bad as we thought it would be.

I'm so glad that all went well last night. I just got round to reading Tuesday's note. I cannot understand people not getting on with their offspring. I must have told you over and over again when at work I heard of a Mum that did not approve of the new wife and wouldn't speak to them, another man was so annoyed when his only son married a catholic that he would have nothing to do with him even although they lived within sight of each other and a grandson came along. I felt like hitting their head against a wall especially when you were all far away. We have a saying 'There's nowt as queer as folk' I was on duty at the support group this week and it went really well. A trained counsellor has joined us and two people, in need, came along. It was a sharing of feelings, experience and faith.
Pray for our church as an offer goes in tomorrow to buy the Glasgow hotel to turn it into a church centre. Other people are interested in buying. But things have moved very fast for us and perhaps it is meant for us. We mean to sell the manse and eventually the hall and would still have a lot of work to do on the building. At this stage it is really exciting. Pray, please. As for your other comments I feel in life we do not appreciate true happiness till we do not have it any more. Do you think that is a sad fact of life? Lots of love and as Dad would write Hug, hug. Mumxxxxxxx
