I haven't updated in a while. It's been one thing or another, with getting my computer back to working order and work. We had a good weekend with Isla and James. It was good to see them. Took things easy. Next time we see them will be James' Graduation on the 14th.
Mike has his garden boxes built and filled with dirt. He planted some tomatoes today. It's nice to have a vegetable garden spot.
Mum and Dad, I got your CD full of photos. I really like the finds Mum got for her garden. What are you going to plant on the trellis? The photos were good. I liked the ideas with the rocks and the wood, looked like fun. Logan Gardens looks like a nice place.
I got a new sewing machine. Kind of a Mother's Day gift to myself. Ha! I remember using Mum's and really feeling like I had moved up in the world when Mike bought me one that did zig zag. Mum's only did straight stitch. Well after years of using mine, I have moved up again to one that does over 70 different stitches. It cost about a quarter of what Mike paid for my old one also, the price has really come down on sewing machines.
Our competitor sign company bought a super duper printing machine this week. It is lots better than ours. We haven't told Hal yet, who is in another world anyway. It may mean we don't print for the other sign companies anymore like we have been doing. The machine Hal bought has been nothing but trouble and they have even quit making it, so eventually parts etc. will be hard to come by. He gripes about it all the time.
Dad, proud of you doing all that in computer class. I think it is great what you are up to. Like I said, if I was there, I'd be going to class with you. Ha!
