The End of Another Week.

I don't know where the time goes. Mike has been extra busy at work. James also has been working long hours, 12 hours a day. Monday he moves to Days and to doing some drawings in AutoCad for FMC. Isla has been working also and Fulton High School is keeping her busy. She is set to work straight at Fulton for the next two weeks. Tomorrow she has class in Oxford at 9am and was going to drive by herself as James doesn't get off work till 4am and needs to sleep when he gets home. So I offered to go with her and when Mike heard, he offered to go also to keep me company while she is in class. I hated to think of her going by herself. With James sleeping Mike can't exactly crank up the saw anyway to work on the house. Ha!

It was a sad week with the funeral of Susan Loden. When Carrie died Kayla and Susan (Kayla is Carrie's age and Susan's daughter) came by the house with photos of Carrie to give us. I was thinking yesterday at work of the last time I saw Susan. She came into work to pick up something for the college and it was shortly after Kayla's wedding and she just happened to have photos with her. She was letting me know how it all went and just so excited about it all, then she stopped and told me that Carrie was really missed and that Kayla had wanted her to be one of the bridesmaids. We both got choked up. When she went to leave I said "Love You!" as she went out the door. I was kind of embarrassed to say it as it just wasn't the time or place to say it. You know how us British folk are. It just kind of popped out. Well, I'm glad I did now. Those were my last words to her. I hope she is telling Carrie all about the Coffee House now and Kayla's wedding etc.

We still enjoy our evenings on the deck. Mike feeds the fish and the ducks and now we have 5 ducks that come to get fed and lots of fish including some large catfish. They are fun to watch. We have humming birds galore and also bats around 8pm. We haven't missed the TV one bit. We haven't had as many waverunners on the lake this year. Perhaps because of gas prices being so high. Ours has a problem right now and isn't running right. It has been really quiet and peaceful on the lake.

Isla and James have been able to actually see the baby move now. She has felt him move for a while now but now sees it on her stomach. A little elbow or knee or foot or something. We will soon be attending a Grandparent class at the hospital. It's exciting.

You will have to tell us what happens at the Grandparents' class. Are there any for great grandparents?! You are having a busy time. Enjoy the weekend.
