In this picture Jake is watching "Veggie Tales" with Granny and he is talking back to the TV. He likes Veggie Tales. For three months old he is very alert. He likes me to read to him for long periods of time. He is also much more interested in his toys now and what is around him. I finished a sweater/cardigan that I was working on for next year for Jake. It is too hot to knit in the summer, so I am thinking ahead. I doubt you can see but the buttons are little trains too. I am also just about finished with the mural on the bedroom wall. I will take a photo when I am finished. I have gone ahead and moved the bed on that wall. Overall I am pleased with it, it is what was in my head for it to look like. It is a bit crazy though, not everyone's taste. The crosses Carrie made will go up on one wall also, so I am glad to get them in view after all this time. Stay tuned for photos. Ha!. Yesterday Isla was not at school, Presidents Day. I went into Tupelo and spent the afternoon with her and Jake and helped with him as she graded school papers. We had a good time. Jake was knocking down blocks with his feet. It's amazing how every little thing is so exciting to us.
