We have given up having a dog as a pet. Who needs a dog when we have a cat and fish to watch and friendly ducks! There are 3 brown ducks that we actually feed every morning but the 4 white ducks try and get the food too. This isn't a particularly interesting video, I just think the way ducks waddle is so funny. At the end, Jake is amazed by our fig tree. He likes to go and pick a fig and eat it. When watching the video I ask Jake what he is eating. This is for his benefit as I know fine well what he is eating before I get any emails about letting him eat things in the yard. Ha! The video below was actually shot Tuesday but I've just now had time to upload it.
Today Isla had a doctor's appointment and everything went well. I added the days till Mari (pronounced Mary) is born at the side as I am getting excited about our wee Grand Daughter. It seems everywhere I go I see little baby girls, even today in Sams a Grandmother was holding a newborn girl as her Mother shopped. I can't help but stare and am just in a state of wonder that a new wee life is growing each day.
