There has been a little confusion about Mari's name. It is pronounced Mary. There are Marion's on both sides of the family and also a Mary on James side. It doesn't help that Americans and Scots pronounce Marion completely different! In the US it is almost a Merryon sound. Kind of like me naming Isla and then to my dismay found out that Americans pronounced it like Alla.

Isn't Mari amazing - she looks as if she is much older than 2.5 days and is indeed as "chunky" as her Mommy described her before she was born. Already she is mastering the art of thumbsucking and her hiccupping makes me think that she is more than satisfied with her nutrition ...!
