Monday Monday

Well, I've missed out on a couple of days there. Sorry Mum and Dad if you are waiting to hear the goings on. Coffee House went great this past weekend. We added a play station II to the list of things for kids to do and it went over big, they love it. Sunday we got up and went to help Isla and James move. That went well. I wish I had another day to help Isla unpack but some things are better doing yourself anyway. Mike and I had a nice time driving over and seeing the new scenery. It looks much like Louisiana to us, flat and lots of farm land. It was nice. We hope to go back and visit soon.

Tonight we had an interview with the Tupelo Newspaper and they are supposed to have an article come out Sunday. It lasted about an hour and a half and they are going to come back Friday and take photos. It should be interesting to see how it goes. Pro-oil and Pennzoil etc. are going to donate some playstation II's to the Coffee House. I was bold and asked a guy that we do a lot of work with and after he had a look at the website he was very impressed and more than happy to help us out. I only asked him for one playstation but he said he would try and do more.

It is good to have Mike home. We have enjoyed each others company since he got back. What do they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder. It is nice to still be in love after all these years. Ha!

A bunch of kids (about 30 so far) have been coming in the Sign Shop after their friend who was 17 died in a car accident. They have been getting stickers for their car, in loving memory of etc. I have had a chance to talk to them about grief and infact the sister of the mother came in today and she wanted to know my name and how the mother could get a hold of me sometime to talk, so I was able to give her a Carrie's Coffee House card. God sees fit to use me as the sister was asking me today, well what can I do that would really help. What should I not do etc. It was a good talk. My heart goes out to them. I remember the days when going to Wal-mart seemed to hard of a task to do. When going to sleep was hard because it meant waking up and having to tell myself all over it was not a nightmare it was real. I'll say a special prayer for that mother tonight.
