Sunday

Well, there is a picture of our new car. It is really nice and will make at least one and a half hours of my day more pleasant. It feels much safer also. We got it for $5,000. It is a saturn. It has power windows, power locks, I can even adjust the mirrors by a button. Has a CD player, cruise control, sunroof. I really like it. It's just nice to have something that the light comes on when you open the door. Ha! Much needed for those late nights home from the Coffee House.

The Coffee House is going great. We have a guy helping us out Jason, he is the law enforcement guy, he goes around telling folks to behave, no smoking, etc. etc. Then last night we had another guy volunteer to help, Josh works in Amory and has preached at a few churches but has a desire to make a difference in kids lives. He goes around checking on kids, playing games with them, talking to them. And last but not least is Lee. He is funny, or rather witty, and musically talented, he gets up there with the kids and jams with them. So far, God is bringing a workforce together. Verdie and Jerry are still a big help, next weekend they will be bringing hamburgers again. They continue to bring their grandchildren, but stay and chat while they are there. They go back to their church and inspire folks to help out with cookies etc. Tanya Jackson also helps out and is there most nights helping in the kitchen and cleaning up. Sometimes Molly and Elise help out at the counter and take orders and Tanya and I just stay in the kitchen area. So things are going good. Bands continue to call me up asking to play.
