It feels like it should be Friday already, perhaps because of the short week last week. Things are as crazy at work as ever. Yesterday Chris asked if he needed to paint primer on some bare wood posts and I told him yes but he decided to go with two coats of black paint instead. When I saw what he was doing I asked him if that was black primer and he said no. Then when Chris was out, I asked Hal if it was ok to paint posts without primer and he said it was for short term jobs. This is not a short term job and I told Chris not to do it. I bit my lip and didn't say anymore. Hal doesn't want to cause a scene and it is already done. Hopefully I won't be working there when the customer comes back to complain. I just don't get it though. Hal has also been working on his computer for two days straight, fixing things and I thought it was a good time to mention that since he loaded the new sign program I have been having email problems and even have to reboot the computer to get email to send which at times sends more than one copy at a time. He gave me the phone number of the person to call that handles our Internet. Like I have time to do that. Again, I just bit my lip. I can live with it. Also, two weeks ago a customer came in and ordered a sign and needed it installed tomorrow as he is opening shop tomorrow. Well, something about the paint wasn't dry or something caused Hal not to have it ready and he is down in Jackson. When he left he basically told me that so and so might be calling and what to say to him. So he left me to get the brunt of the fury.
Came home and sat on the deck and called Isla. There were a lot of fish tonight and the ducks came up on the grass and ate grass for a while. Two fishing boats went by. It is so peaceful here. Mike has been leveling the bedroom floor now and putting down the felt stuff. He is also trying to level the front yard. Still not missing TV. Ha!
