Last night went well at the Coffee House. No broken windows! It was busy as usual. Isla and James came by. It is always good when James gets up on stage and plays the guitar with our house drummer and they had another guitar player last night. Sounded good. Isla was a lot of help in the kitchen.
Saturday Mike had to go into work for a spell, so I just got up and decided to start cleaning the Coffee House for the Baby Shower. I was there at 7am and home at 2pm. I gave it a good cleaning from top to bottom, so next weekend after the Coffee House, Sunday Morning, hopefully there won't be too much that needs done. I put up some more car tags, cleaned the windows, painted the wood where the window was boarded up, vacuumed the whole place, dusted the fans, washed the counter down with soap, moved couches and chairs around, dusted Carrie's paintings and the tv's and play stations and fixed some broken tables.
If I can find the kid that is pulling the buttons off the couch and picking the foam out of the holes they create, I'd tell them a thing or two. Or the kid who puts their chewing gum under the counter, or the kid who spilled 1000 tic-tac like orange balls which are everywhere. The joys of the Coffee House.
