James Drew "Dick" Carr, age 86, died Friday, January 18, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North MS after a short illness.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The service at 2:30 PM Sunday, January 20, 2008 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home will be conducted by Rev. David Ross and Rev. Ross Robinson. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery in Lafayette County.
Dick Carr is survived by a daughter, Yvonne Carr Hunt of Adamsville, TN; two sons, Larry Carr and Phillip Carr, both of Water Valley, MS; one sister, Maxine Carr Hogan of Ferguson, MO; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Mills Carr (October 26, 2002) and one sister, Marie Carr Lowe.
