Just a short update. I misplaced my camera around New Years, so didn't have any photos to share and then I had to take our New Computer into the Shop and they are backlogged so it is taking them a while to see to it, so I have been without internet.
This Saturday Mike turned 50! I was able to surprise him with a party at the Coffee House. A lot of his friends from work came and also his Mother and Father from Natchez, Isla and James, friends from Church. He was really surprised. It was the first time for his Parents to see their new Great Grand Daughter, and I think the first time they have been inside Carrie's Coffee House. They also got to see Isla's new house. It was Lennie's 76th Birthday on Sunday and we enjoyed a meal out together before they left for home. I will post photos when I get my computer back.
Mike and I are on a diet for the New Year. It is a lot easier dieting when your spouse is dieting also. We are just counting calories. I am on 1300 a day and don't really feel like I am dieting, just making better choices. We are also going on more walks. So if you have any dieting recipes or advice feel free to email them to me. I admit that when Carrie died, while my Mum lost weight I started gaining weight, so I have about 4 years of baggage to deal with but I'm ready!
