We had fun last night going to the Marina before the Coffee House. We missed the Christmas Fireworks. The boats were all decorated and you got to meet the owners. They had lots of cookies and Hot Chocolate etc. We saw Charles, one of the Coffee House kids and saw the houseboat that he lives on.
The Coffee House went well. Mike and I had it by ourselves for a while, then Jerry and Verdie came to our rescue to help out. One of these nights I'm going to count how many milkshakes etc we actually sell a night. I know we went through 5 gallons of ice-cream. I posted some good photos of the kids on the website. A cute on of Nick drinking his milk shake. Most of the kids in the pictures are regulars.
It was a lovely day yesterday. Like a summer day. We had the doors open and the attic fan going (though it is in the basement) I guess we need to call it a basement fan. Sucks air out the house and out the basement door. Fresh air comes in. We got out trees cut down which was a surprise. Next Saturday two of the kids from the Coffee House are going to come and help with the moving of it, and Mike will cut it up.
