Got a call from Laura this morning. While her Mum and dad were at the hospital their house burned down to the ground. It is so sad. Her Dad was having some more surgery at the time. (Laura, if you read this, let us know if there is anything we can do) We certainly want to help out any way we can.
Christmas time is tough. Last year I'm glad we went to Scotland, it was great, getting away. This year I'm finding it harder perhaps because I should have gone through some of this last year. I find myself doing new things as I just can't face the old way of doing things without her. The bells she used to hit EVERY time she passed under the door way will stay packed up, some things are just too painful.
Mike has been working hard on this doll thing for his boss daughter and putting in the heaters at the Coffee House. If we didn't have to sleep, perhaps we could get everything done! I cooked the hamburgers last night for the Coffee House.
