Today Isla went to the doctor and he gave her the flu test and it was positive. I took over with Jake and the plan is to keep them apart till she gets better. I also took Jake to the doctor to make sure he didn't have the flu. He got his shots yesterday and has a little fever from that but it seems that is all and he is fine. Poor Isla is in a bad way, sick and not getting to see Jake all weekend at least. She can't nurse Jake for at least 10 days. She wasn't able to take the flu shot like we did because she was pregnant or nursing. Fulton Middle School seems to be hit hard with it. It hasn't reached the High School as bad yet but with brothers and sisters in the same house, I'm sure it will spread around. We decided just to not have the Coffee House this weekend. Not that Mike couldn't handle it himself but it would just aid in spreading the flu. We will just have the party in honor of Carrie's birthday next weekend. I also cancelled taking the class on Genealogy but that's ok, there will be plenty more and I think I figured a lot of it out myself by going to the Library website and logging in. So, say a prayer for Isla.
