Today it is Lennie's turn. Mike had his birthday yesterday. He woke up to cards and a sausage grinder. We drove into work together. I think he had a nice day. His request was breadpudding for dessert. He said he liked it. Mum & Dad, I don't know how you do it, but your card came on his Birthday.
Not much else going on, just work and going home and not doing as much as I plan when I get home. Ha! I think the holidays made me lazy. Must get back into things. It has been a bit slow at work, which I have enjoyed getting caught up and ahead in some things. I enjoy my job when I'm here. I love designing and talking to customers, except for the one or two that think you can do the impossible. I always have to find something new to learn. I do get bored doing the same old thing, so I learn a program better or read a designing book or look into making t-shirts etc.
Points of interest in the past couple of days. Apple is coming out with a computer in the $600 price range soon. May be worth getting just to hook up to the internet and use only for internet.
What exactly is closure? Someone on a news channel asked this and it made me think. She basically said it was when you realized you could face the world again and go on, but it was not like and end to grieving. You hear it used a lot in trials where the convicted murderer is sentenced and the grieving family somehow find closure. I think folks that have not lost someone close may use this word. I can't find a use for it myself.

My understanding of closure is when a person has been missing and after some time the body has been found this brings about closure and the family are able to begin grieving. If there is a trial for murder and someone is found guilty of murder and sentenced to a term in prison then that brings about closure and the family can begin the grieving process proper. A patient I know lost her son somewhere in the African Jungle after a small plane crashed and she lived in hope that he would turn up sometime alive and well. She had no closure as I understand the word.
I'm glad the card arrived on time. It is difficult to have it delivered in this country on time so I am truly amazed.
Love Mum xx Speak to you tomorrow.
