Sunday News

The Coffee House went very well last night also. Still packed out. Laura and Jenny helped out again and were GREAT! Verdie came back also for a while with their grandchildren. I sure appreciate these volunteers.

As Carrie's Birthday approaches I've been pondering what do do special on that day. I would be interested in your ideas. Last year I took the day off and Mike and I sanded the Coffee House Floor and had a Prayer Service of Dedication for the Coffee House that night. This time it is on a Friday and Scotty and his band are playing (all folks that knew Carrie and around her age). I may pick up some daisy's and take them that night to sit on the counter. Last year we plugged in her lava lamp and it hasn't been on since. I will try and think of something to buy for the Coffee house in her memory as a kind of birthday present. Let me hear your ideas.
I appreciate Mum and Dad providing the Church flowers in her memory and also sending a donation to he Coffee house for her birthday.

It is cold here this morning. Keep Mike in your prayers as he travels.
